Pearl is passionate about makeup. Ever since she went through her mother’s makeup stash when she was just eight, she was hooked. Pearl loves how makeup easily glides in her skin and how it gives her so much color. The first time she applied makeup, she looked like a runaway clown. But Pearl didn’t care. She wanted to use makeup and be beautiful just like her mom.
The year that Pearl turned thirteen was the same year that her mom allowed her to wear makeup. She even bought Pearl her own pink lipgloss and colorless mascara. Pearl would spend hours and hours in front of the mirror playing with her new makeup as well as her mom’s discarded ones. She would imitate her mother’s sweeping motions when applying blush and try to copy her mom’s steady hands when applying eyeliner.
Now that Pearl’s an adult, she is extremely adept in applying makeup. Her friends often compliment her on her ever changing looks that enhances her beauty. Some of her friends even ask her to let her do their makeup for Pearl’s techniques look like it is professionally apply makeup.
Pearl’s hardwork and passion for makeup definitely played in her favour. She is now a very successful makeup artist.
